My friend Shanee Pink was recently in LA recording some new songs for her solo project. I stopped by her place + filmed this beautiful Uke Song w/ my iPhone. She said “It’s a love song to life…written under a warm blanket, in my apt, in the midst of a New York City winter.”

May 3, 2011 finally came! ‘In Your Dreams,’ the first Stevie Nicks solo album in a decade was released today, and I’m blasting the record and getting ready to run out to Amoeba to buy some hard copies! Maestro Dave Stewart brings out the best in artists and Glen Ballard is a super gifted producer, so it’s no wonder Dave, Glen, and Stevie worked well together to create this amazing record.

I’m so happy Dave and Stevie had the novel idea to film a mini-movie of music videos, interviews, and more to accompany ‘In Your Dreams.’ Dave who is also a photographer asked me to work along side him and document the behind the scenes process of them working together.

My photos are being used for the packaging, press, billboards, T-shirts, key chains, and the cover! I still can’t believe this unforgettable rare opportunity really happened! I grew up listening to Stevie Nicks, so this is by far one of the coolest experiences I’ve had as a photographer. Stevie Nicks, Glen Ballard and Dave Stewart are pure magic.
